Ding... Ding... Ding... Three rings of the supper bell is going to let my family know that "SOUP'S ON"!  I'm not even going to wait till we have land to get this one...

Back home in our house in the Southwest we have a large semi-walk in pantry.  Once I discovered these pantry doors I just knew I needed one!  Whether we ever get back to that house or when we build our dream house with a walk in pantry... it will definitely have this door except ours will have white trim!!

So I always talk about the farm house I dream about... well here it actually is.  The plans to this house fit our growing family PERFECTLY and my husband and I fell in LOVE the moment we saw it.  Here's to one day being able to purchase the plans and a little lot of land to build our dream farm house!!!!

Okay so we took the HGTV Style Quiz which determined that our decor style is Cottage Chic... and it was right on! Now a lot of Cottage Chic pictures that came up had a bit too much lace and a bit too many flowers so I added in the "Farmhouse'" part of it because that seems to be the perfect combination. Here are some pictures that I found through Google images that shows the perfect balance... We hope to slowly begin building our collection of Farmhouse Cottage Chic decor items to fill our home!

And then here is a picture of the color palette that we are planning for our bedroom.  We absolutely LOVE these colors... they are so romantic and to us the perfect definition of magick!  Nothing more nothing less... we even want the silver pitcher with sterling roses!

And the great thing is we don't have to wait for our dream farm house to begin decorating this way!

This wood burning cook stove is one expensive baby... upwards of $5000.00!  This would be awesome to have but the one below, although still expensive ($2500) would still do the job very well!

Oh and I just discovered an even less expensive one... for $1500 you can get a perfectly working one without the bells and whistles.  This would be all we would need since it would be only for emergencies anyway.

I would LOVE to find a place that has a barn already on it... They are just so beautiful... but if the perfect piece of land doesn't end up having a barn... Then maybe this will do...

A barn chicken coop!  How cute is this?  But I also like something like this... Imagine it in white and red...

I really like the idea of having a coop that is easily accessible for cleaning... and this would be great with the big doors that open up wide.

Hubby and I want to start out with something like this... Raised Garden beds.  After all we are beginners and I think this is the best option for us.  I think I'd want a white picket fence around the garden and possible have it big enough to put the chicken coop inside the garden area to help keep the pests at bay.  Oh and not to mention so the chickens can be free range without me having to worry about my dog getting to them!

I absolutely LOVE that you can stack some of the front load models... I can't wait to have this!

I LOVE the idea and look of having open cabinets... It just screams romance to me.  As I was searching for different pictures of doorless cabinets I came across this blog... She hasn't posted in quite a while but check out how she transformed this little kitchen and guess what!?  It was a RENTAL house!  This has totally inspired me to do it in our next rental... Easy and no permanent changes!  I can't wait!

This is a must have!  But I can't decide whether I would want it leaving my mud room, washroom, or kitchen.  I'm thinking kitchen.  I can't help but think of Mr. Ed when I think of a Dutch Door! :)
